Who doesn’t like a good old party? Right?
Who wants to feel like their fitness is gone down the drain and then go through hell to get it back? Not me! Not within a reasonable extent anyway.
“It’s over, crazy nights out are a thing of the past” Nah, I don’t believe that is how it works. Why not enjoy a good thing?
But being more selective, and not just make of it a mindless habit cannot be a bad alternative. Although some people seem not to get it—nope, nope, not gonna take the bait and go on a rant about this. Happy to be a “misfit” here!
At the end of the day, we’re just looking at ways of having a break from our daily obligations and headaches. Ways of feeling good, alive. And it’s my humble opinion that the healthier choice takes priority, but also, that variety is a must.
And perhaps that would explain why you get
some beer in your goodie bag after some races!
